Partner account needs to raise a request to Infrascale [Support](https://www.infrascale.com/support){:target='\_blank'} and mentions the entity (Company / Partner / Distributor) administrator username(s) for which they would like to switch on the multi-factor authentication (MFA) service.

Prior to enabling MFA for your account, please check if:

  • The contact phone number for each backup account is specified.
  • The phone number should be entered in the international format and without separators, e.g. +12345678901.
  • The contact email for each backup account is specified.


You can configure aforementioned settings as follows:

  1. [Sign in](https://dashboard.infrascale.com){:target='\_blank'} to the Dashboard.
  2. Go to Manage > Backup Accounts.
  3. Click on the backup account and scroll down to General Info.
  4. Enter Contact Number and Contact Email. If the backup account is an administrator, enter Admin Number and Admin Email.
  5. Click Save.


Please note that MFA applies to PC and Mac clients, and Dashboard.
Once you enable MFA, you should log out from the client and log in again. Otherwise, backups will fail.
