Edit a backup and retention policy in the Dashboard

To edit a backup and retention policy:

  1. Sign in to your account in the Dashboard.

  2. Go to Endpoint BackupNew Policies.

    The consolidated policies page opens.

  3. Find a policy you want to edit.

  4. Click Actions (Actions icon) in the last column against the backup policy record, and then click Edit.

  5. Change the settings and options of the policy.

  6. Click Save to apply changes.

    To apply either the basic or the advanced settings, you have to be on the relevant settings tab (Basic or Advanced) when saving changes to the policy.

    The system applies the changes, and now you can view the changed policy information on the consolidated policies page.
