Explore local Cloud Failover Appliances

Find and view appliances

To view and access a Cloud Failover Appliance (CFA) on your local network from the Dashboard:

  1. Sign in to your account in the Dashboard.

  2. Go to Disaster RecoverySite Summary.

    Menu item

    The consolidated CFAs page opens.

  3. Click Local Appliances.

Information overview

The page shows the CFAs available on your local network with the following details:

Column Description
Name Name of the CFA
UUID UUID of the CFA
Model Model of the CFA
Firmware Version of the CFA firmware
MAC address MAC address of the CFA
IP Local IP address of the CFA
IPMI MAC address MAC address of the IPMI port of the CFA
IPMI IP IP address of the IPMI port of the CFA
Updated UTC Date the CFA firmware was last updated

By default, the system shows 30 CFA records in the table per page. To browse over the CFAs, use the navigation buttons at the bottom of the page. Also, you can enter a number in the box, and then press Enter to go to the respective page.

Sort data

You can sort the CFAs in the table in ascending or descending order by:

  • name of the CFA (Name),

  • UUID of the CFA (UUID),

  • model of the CFA (Model),

  • version of the CFA firmware (Firmware),

  • MAC address of the CFA (MAC address),

  • local IP address of the CFA (IP),

  • MAC address of the IPMI port of the CFA (IPMI MAC address),

  • IP address of the IPMI port of the CFA (IPMI IP), or

  • date the CFA firmware was last updated (Updated UTC).

For this, click the name of the corresponding column.

Filter data

You can filter the CFAs in the table by:

  • name of the CFA (Appliance Name), and

  • local IP address of the CFA (Local IP).

For this, set the desired filters on the toolbar, and then click Apply.

To reset all filters at once, click Clear (Clear filters icon) next to the filters on the toolbar.

Access appliance

To access the Management Console of the CFA, click the name or the IP address of the CFA.
