Summary: Configure settings for communication between the Disaster Recovery backup agent for Windows and the Cloud Failover Appliance.

You can change the password and TCP port used by the backup agent to communicate with the Cloud Failover Appliance (CFA).

In the CFA Management Console:

  1. Go to ClientsEdit, select the desired client.

  2. In the General group, select Generate a new password.

  3. In the Client Networking group, specify a new TCP port.

    Note

By default, the backup agent communicates with the CFA via TCP port 9102. When changing the port, keep in mind that ports 9103, 9104, and 9105 are reserved for other purposes. To avoid possible conflicts, we do not recommend using them.
  4. Click Apply to save changes.

  5. Click Activate configuration so the changes take effect.

The backup agent on the target client will update the settings automatically.
