The Notices widget and the message logs in the Management Console of the Cloud Failover Appliance (CFA) show the following errors if the CFA cannot detect an archive drive:
Auto archive cannot find the default library
Could not find auto archive destination
The CFA has never seen this archive drive or the archive drive had some other issue.
Steps to resolve
Prepare the archive drive for removal, and then scan for it again.
If that does not resolve the issue, in the CFA Management Console:
Go to Archive › Libraries.
Click the archive drive, and then click Manage Disk.
Click Recover Database.
This will import the jobs again and recover the database.
Importing may take a while, especially if there are many archived jobs on the drive.
