Issue

Database backups being dumped to unique file names cause replication slowness.

Description

A contributing factor to slow replication can involve the backups being transferred between the Backup & Disaster Recovery appliances.

If database backups are being sent to files with a unique name each time causes problems with byte level replication.

Appliance cannot delta these files.

Steps to resolve

The names of the backup need to be the same.

Use the SQL plug-in as a dedicated client.
