How do I map the NAS share?

SMB must be enabled for Windows access. Make user and assign a password in the SMB setup. To map it on Windows, go to Start > Run and use this format:
\\ipaddress\

It asks for password. This is the user and password set in SMB and it has nothing to do with Windows users or the CFA admin. It will map the drive and show you the contents. It will also make a folder for the user and folder called Homes.

Linux would use a mount command (to ip:/share) and credentials would be the same as on Windows. It is probably easiest to use the tools inside the GUI to mount the drive....

If a user wants to configure a portion of their RAID as a NAS to be used as the data storage for an ESX host they will need to configure it to allow anonymous log in since ESX does not use a user account.
