Open your Internet browser, and go to the devices page.

If your CFA is on the list, click its name or IP address to go to the Management Console. Skip the following steps and start from the Registration and licensing section.

If your CFA is not on the list, proceed as follows:

  1. Connect a monitor and a keyboard to the CFA, and turn it on.

  2. Log in to the Console Configuration Utility with the default credentials:

    1. In the Login box, enter admin.

    2. In the Password box, enter rvxd2d2d.

    3. Select Login, and then press Enter.

  3. Select Configure Networking, and then press Enter.

    1. In the Short Name box, enter a name, by which the rest of your network devices will refer to your CFA.

      It may contain only alphanumeric characters and hyphen (for example, backup-1). Hyphen cannot be the first or the last character in the name.

    2. In the Domain Name box, enter the name of your network domain.

      It may contain only alphanumeric characters and hyphen (for example, backup.your-domain.com). Hyphen cannot be the first or the last character in the name. It may not contain two or more dots in a row.

    3. In the Default Gateway box, enter the IP address of your router.

  4. Select Configure eth0, and then press Enter.

    1. In the Configuration list, select Static.

    2. In the IP Address box, enter an IP address for your CFA.

    3. In the Netmask box, enter the netmask of your network.

    4. Select Save, and then press Enter.

  5. Restart the CFA.

  6. In the address bar of your Internet browser, enter the IP address of your CFA.
